WE ARE DELIGHTED TO ANNOUNCE THAT SEAY HAS BEEN NOMINATED AMONG THE SIX FINALISTS OF THE EGA AWARD 2022.
We try to convey our values and our “business idea” in everything we does in SEAY.
In July 2020 we became a Benefit Corporation by integrating in our statute a series of environmental and social targets we believe are essential for the future of our community; in November 2021 we became a certified B Corp. with a stellar score (editor’s note: we still gloat a little for the score achieved); at the end of the last year we took the TOP of the PID 2021 first prize for the ecological transition… and this year?
We are already in March and we haven’t done anything yet? In reality we have done many things in these first three months of the year including organizing some beach clean-ups (soon we will communicate the first appointment, scheduled for May 14 in Campione del Garda) and it happened we arrived between 6 finalists of the Euro Green Award.
The Euro Green Award (EGA) is an open call to European SME’s that have innovated their respective industries with regard to the reduction of their environmental impact. This initiative focuses on highlighting the essential role that small and middle-sized enterprises play in the EU in driving forward the transition towards a greener future.
Passed through the judgement of an international jury headed by Genuine Way (a blockchain company that focuses on environmental sustainability.) we have been selected among the top 20 brands in Europe, included then in a short list of the top six … and now we just have to wait until April 26 when we will find out if we will be able to step on the podium or if we will celebrate the news that we are anyhow within the top 6 list in Europe!
