ALESSANDRO PIU // EPISODE 3 // SEAYNDAY BRUNCH

FOR THE THIRD SEAYNDAY BRUNCH APPOINTMENT, WE HAVE DEPLOYED ON THE COURT (OR PERHAPS IT IS BETTER TO SAY ON THE WATER) ALESSANDRO PIU.

For the few who do not know Alessandro Piu, Ale is a professional sardinian surfer – we can define him as a veteran of this discipline. He likes to deal with surfers from all over the world and he is a proud representative of his island.

Alessandro started surfing, like many guys from Cagliari, on the south coast of the island. At the age of 13 he competed on his first national and internationaL competitions, reaching soon important results, as in Brazil and in the USA where he achieved excellent results. On top of several national titles won in the junior categories, Ale is the surfer who brought the Italian Champion Title to Sardinia in the Open category.

In today’s video, recorded in Sardinia, the multiple champion Alessandro Piu tells us about “the importance of mental coaching before a competition”. The mental coaching is gaining more and more relevance in the competitive environment, in order to better prepare the athlete’s mental approach to competition. Even in this moment of social isolation, the emotional approach of each of us plays a fundamental role to better face a new and definitely not simple situation.

We hope you’ll find inspiring the approach and the ideas that our athlete ambassador has dedicated to all of us within this clip!
