THE FIRST SEAYNDAY BRUNCH VIDEO HAS BEEN RECORDED BY GIORGIA GREGORIO IN LEZZENO / LAKE COMO AND FOCUSES ON THE PSYCHOLOGICAL MANAGEMENT OF POST-INJURY RECOVERY.

Giorgia Gregorio began her stellar career at the age of 5 years, following the footsteps of her dad Stefano, world champion in speed water skiing.

In fact, water ski is the discipline that kicked off the long sporting journey of this wakeboard champion. Her first success came in 2007, reaching the second place at the Italian Championship in the “very Young” category.

In 2009 and 2011 she won the title of World Champion Girls, and in 2013 in the Junior category. In 2012 (at the age of 15) and in 2013, she won the bronze medal at the European and African Championship competing with the Open. In 2015 she won the Mediterranean beach Games in Pescara, but it was is 2016 that in Coleraine (Ireland) she won the gold medal in the Open category of the European and African Championship. In 2016 she also conquered the first position of the SuperFinal of the European Tour, closing the Linyi World Cup in China in second place.

The 2017 International Congress of Europe and Africa of water skiing disciplines, held in Lausanne, elects Giorgia as Athlete of the year among the women of the Wakebord discipline. For the third time Giorgia is awarded the title of Athlete of the year, a recognition already achieved in 2010 and 2011.

Giorgia is a girl who loves water and nature and this is also why she has been included on the SEAY’s athlete ambassador team; in SEAY we use recycled fabrics for our collections and we have developed an exclusive recycling program to collect the used clothes from our customers (the RE3 model) to preserve the quality of the water and of the environment for the future generations.

Today Giorgia released a video where she talks about herself and her sporting experience, specifically introducing the audience the “sports injury” and the approach of a champion in dealing with physical and psychological trauma.
