THE FIRST ITALIAN BEACH CLEAN UP TOUR PROMOTED BY SEAY STARTS ON MARCH 29TH; WILL BE DIVIDED ON 4 DATES TO COVER LIGURIA, MARCHE, VENETO AND FRIULI

Everything is ready for the SEAY Beach Clean Up tour which for the S/S 2020 will feature 4 Italian beaches in need. Soseaty Collective, at the origin of the ethical and conscious SEAY beachwear brand, keeps the promise contained in its manifesto (S.O.S. + Sea + Society).

Since now announcing a forefront commitment: a calendar of beach clean-up initiatives that during 2020 will see the Soseaty Collective team and its fan base engaged in the cleaning of national beaches in synergy with local communities.

First appointment on March 29 in Albissola Marina (SV), with the patronage of the municipality SEAY, with the technical support of Legambiente Liguria, invites everyone who cares about the environment to join their team to participate in the cleaning of the beach. Legambiente Liguria will introduce the day sharing with the participants the problems related to the territory of the Ligurian coast and sensitizing all the participants about the fragile conditions of our marine environment. With similar contents, the calendar of beach clean-ups will then stop in Senigallia (AN) on April 4, in Porto Caleri (RO) on May 9 and in Lignano Sabbiadoro (UD) on May 23 – here with the patronage of the Assessorato all’ambiente of the Friuli Venezia Giulia region.

In Veneto and in Marche, some schools will also participate at the project. To further personalize the events, SEAY has also created a one-of-a-kind t-shirt for the volunteers present during the 4 dates which summarizes the motto of the SEAY 4 RE-CYCLING campaign. The slogan aims to spot-light a very serious issue with a fun graphic and a quote that is almost a tongue twister: “Clean is not the answer, clean is the question. Yes is the answer”.
